Thai Town - Getting Here PDF Print Email

Thai Town is located in East Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. between Western and Normandie Avenues. The western entrance at Hollywood Blvd/Western Ave is located right off of the 101 Freeway and is very accessible by automobile. If you need a starting point, start at 5500 Hollywood Blvd., which is a historic building that was used by Louis B. Mayer of Metro Goldwyn Mayer films as his office. This address will put you right across the street from the Apsonsi Gateway where you can begin your journey.

-Coming from the West: Drive down Hollywood Blvd going east until you reach Western Avenue.

-Coming from the 101 South: Exit Hollywood Blvd. and hang a right and drive until you reach Western Ave.

-Coming from the 101 North: Exit Hollywood Blvd. and hang a left and drive until you reach Western Ave.

Upon arrival in Thai Town, there exists street metered parking that takes credit cards; however, parking is limited, so use caution and read all signs that might explain any restrictions. Also, paid and valet parking lots are available, depending on the restaurant.

Thai Town is very transit friendly with the Hollywood/Western Metro Red Line subway station dropping you off at the entrance to Thai Town. A number of Metro rapid and local buses also stop along Hollywood Blvd. Please check with METRO for maps and schedules.
